Legal Nurse Consulting Practice was founded in early 2000 by Sharon M. Martino, RN. She quickly identified the need for a computer tool to assist in organizing and presenting medical case analysis. Fortunately, she had the foresight to marry a computer systems analyst some years earlier and prevailed on him to create a system for her. Over the past 7 years, they have collaborated to develop a system that is easy to use, professional and visual in its presentation.
The Practice continues to grow and has added clients in several states. Several nurses have joined the team, adding increased depth to our expertise. The application of technology provides for a superior work product and helps reduce the total cost of medical case preparation.
In the fall of 2004 it was decided to make the computer system available for purchase to Attorneys and Legal Nurse Consultants. Legal Nurse Systems, LLC was formed to administer this effort. The System has expanded into the Legal Nurse Suite of Software with the addition of the Life Care Planner System and the soon to be released Mass Tort Management System. More additions to the Suite are planned including the Electronic Record Manager and the Trial Presentation Manager.

Our Products
Legal Nurse Systems Suite of Software is designed to be Easy to Use and to complement the way you work. The Suite of Software has Administrative features to track your time, expenses & invoices. All Software Products are easily generated in Microsoft Word ®.
The Legal Nurse System is the choice for Medical Record Analysis. It produces crisp, professional work products including Chronologies, Deposition Reports, Cost Itemization, Cost Analysis, Timelines, Graphs and a special Vital Sign Chart. These are all produced in Microsoft Word® and Excel® and can be edited. They allow you to present your findings in a clear, visual manner that Shows the Story.
The Life Care Planner System was developed under the guidance of Nurse Life Care Planners and has been tested at Deposition and Trial. It REMOVES THE TEDIOUS BURDEN OF COST CALCULATION and IMMEDIATELY, AUTOMATICALLY lets you see the ACCURATELY CALCULATED Base, Annual and Total Plan Costs for Each Item you included in your Plan. It allows you to create your own Report Style and has a Report Manager that lets you combine References and Documents from your files, Age & Cost Tables and Your Life Care Plan Chapters typed directly into a cohesive final Life Care Plan Complete with Table of Contents.
The Mass Tort Manager allows you to Create Screening Questionnaires that can be completed on line. The results are stored in a database so that you can track a candidate's progress and manage the next tasks required. Reminders and tasks are automatically placed in Microsoft Outlook for you and once the case is qualified you can use the Legal Nurse System to complete the work up. The Mass Tort Manager is schedule for release in the Summer of 2007.
You Can Choose From:
Work Group Version for use use by collaborative groups such as law offices. This version can be accessed through a Virtual Private Network or installed on your server. Contact us for more information.
Single User Version for installation on your PC. This is perfect for the Legal Nurse Consultant with an individual practice or a small office.
