What are the advantages of using the Legal Nurse System?

First, let our skilled staff analyze your case.  You will receive the full benefits of our system plus take advantage of our data scanning and illustration capabilities.  We will also send you a CD with your case information on it.  This means you can print the Chronology and use our Query Builder to look up details and print special reports. 

Second, purchase or subscribe to the Legal Nurse System and enjoy its full capabilities.  Have your Legal Nurse Consultant use our system to review and prepare your case.  You and your Legal Nurse Consultant will be able to access it securely over the Internet with all the benefits and the convenience of Internet access.

In either case you will benefit in many ways including:

1. The Query Builder allows you to search the database and cross-reference information.  For example you can view and print the records for: 

   - All the orders from “Dr. Smith”
   - All the orders from “Dr. Smith” that mention “Heparin”.
   - All the orders from “Dr. Smith” that mention “Heparin” and “D/C".

   This feature is invaluable for finding information and creating reports FAST.

2. Use the Selected Record feature to tag records for special reports.  You can then view or print all the records having that tag.  For example, you add an "SC" meaning Skin Care to pertinent records and produce a Skin Care Report.
   

3. The Chronological report has review notes with it.  These explain the significance of the chart documentation, the medical terminology and other observations about the events in the medical records.  Have this in front of you when you discuss the case with the expert witnesses.
   

4. The Charts and Timeline Report give a quick visual view of the case.  Your Legal Nurse Consultant can add comments directly to the graph or copy and paste it into your existing software.
   

5. Use the Party feature to prepare for deposition and trial.  Add Notes and Questions about the involved parties with the Chronology immediately in front of you.
   

6. Send the Chronological Report and Visuals to your expert witness.  Not only will this quickly demonstrate your position, it will also reduce the time and cost of the expert review.
